ProKR is a free, pay-what-you-want platform for OKR tracking, project management, CRM, and grant management. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use ProKR. By using our service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through Google OAuth or email-based authentication. As you use ProKR, we store the organizational data you create, including objectives, key results, projects, tasks, CRM contacts, grant records, and any other content you enter into the platform. We also collect basic usage analytics such as page views and feature usage to help us understand how the product is being used and where we can improve.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and maintain the ProKR service, authenticate your identity, and deliver the features you interact with. We may send you check-in reminders and product-related notifications based on your account settings. We use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve ProKR and prioritize new features. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
ProKR relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate. Supabase provides authentication and database hosting. Vercel handles application hosting and edge delivery. Stripe processes optional tip jar donations. Sentry captures error reports so we can fix bugs quickly. Each of these providers has their own privacy policies and maintains industry-standard security practices.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database managed by Supabase. All data is encrypted at rest and all connections to ProKR are secured with HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit. We follow security best practices including row-level security policies, secure authentication token handling, and regular dependency updates. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
You can access and export your data at any time using the built-in export features within ProKR. If you would like to request a complete deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us at privacy@prokr.io. You may opt out of non-essential email communications at any time through your account settings or by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.
7. Cookies
ProKR uses essential cookies only. These cookies are required for authentication and maintaining your session while you use the platform. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies for marketing purposes.
8. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. After you request account deletion, your personal data and organizational content will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Demo organization data is automatically reset every 4 hours and should not be used to store real information.
9. Children's Privacy
ProKR is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes that significantly affect how we handle your data, we will notify you via email. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
